A special remodel and addition centering around family, food, and togetherness, this home was well-loved over the years as our homeowners raised their children. With a serious home cook in the family, the project features a truly personalized kitchen to suit her every need including a custom built-in appliance pantry. A rich mix of finishes and materials customizes the kitchen to integrate well with their warm home while adding color and texture in subtle places.
Bringing as much light as possible into their darker, shady home was another important component of the remodel. The stunning sunroom addition featuring oversized windows, an incredible vaulted ceiling and skylight accomplish this goal. It is seamlessly integrated into the kitchen and family room off the rear of the home and ties into the new decking of the backyard for a lovely flow from interior to exterior.
The bathrooms on the upper level were redesigned to improve efficiency and maximize the amount of sunlight pouring into the spaces. A feminine touch is added to each bathroom with lovely crystal chandeliers that brighten the warm selected finishes that tie into the home’s lovely, eclectic aesthetic.
