Is anything more fun than designing your own family’s playground? COOPER Design Build’s remodel of this impressive home emphasized fun for kids and grown-ups alike by designing and building dramatic indoor and outdoor entertainment additions for year-round enjoyment!
Our second large project with this wonderful family began when they found a larger, (nearly) perfect home in Lake Oswego. To achieve their vision for the property, we focused on their goals for living in their new home: family, fun and friends.
Our design focused on one of the property’s best features: a full acre of level land that remained undeveloped. Circulation and connection were prioritized as we designed a large addition to the back of the house and built a handsome bar, billiards space with shuffleboard and even a golf simulator room! The outdoor living spaces received an equal amount of attention with the addition of a spacious covered patio featuring infrared heat, gas fireplaces, and built-in BBQ that looks out to a sparkling new pool with hot tub and a full-size sports court. Although a lovely home, the interior of the house required refreshing: new lighting, paint, wallcoverings were completed, plus a to-die-for master closet addition was smartly incorporated into the overall design.
