Kitchen & Primary Suite Remodel in Portland, OR

These homeowners needing a Portland remodel felt dissatisfied with their cramped and outdated space. Frustrated by their current layout’s limitations, they sought a home that better suited their needs. From navigating a cluttered kitchen to dealing with a dated bathroom, they recognized that they needed to make a much-needed change to their home. Through our proven process, the homeowners were able to work with our design team to realize the emphasis they wanted on a functional and aesthetically pleasing environment.

Transforming the Heart of the Home: A Family-Centric Kitchen Renovation

The homeowners needed the kitchen to serve as a central hub for their busy family. By extending the island and adding space for seating, they can now hear all about their children’s days while preparing meals and working around the kitchen. The gorgeous quartz countertops present a neutral color palette but still include a playful amount of movement and pattern; coupled with gray and white cabinets the kitchen is now sophisticated and fresh. Our designers further opened up the space by removing oversized and glass-door cabinets to create a more sleek appearance with added workspace. Another complaint by the homeowners was the open space between the cabinet tops and ceiling. A soffit and trim were added to correct the previous “dated” look, resulting in a seamless transition that highlights the tall ceilings.

Reimagining Luxury: A Tranquil Retreat in the Primary Bathroom

A crowded, disconnected layout in the primary bathroom, left the homeowners looking for a brighter, more spacious design that allowed for relaxation in a luxurious environment. An awkwardly placed toilet located next to the shower in a separate room was replaced with a large, light-filled shower and private space for the toilet. Removing inconveniently placed walls also added space for an extra large bathtub. The new refined vanity and modern mirrors now give the bathroom a cool, inviting look, straight out of a design magazine.
