Whole Home Remodel in Lake Oswego, OR
We often have clients who fall in love with a neighborhood, but can’t find the right home. That’s what happened when this homeowner saw a great opportunity to live on the lake in Lake Oswego. The location was perfect, but the home was outdated and not well-maintained.

This perfectly located home on Oswego Lake had great bones, but the 1970s design was ready for a refresh. What started as a kitchen remodel turned into a whole-house remodel that took the home down to the studs. Moving the closed-off galley kitchen from the back of the home to the side of the open living space created better flow and a more spacious, connected feeling throughout the home. It also allowed for the creation of an elegant office space with an inspiring view. The configuration of the living space was further adjusted by moving the staircase and fireplace to open up the main floor to the beautiful lake view.
The home’s warm, neutral palette complements the lake views from both floors, creating a cohesive and inviting atmosphere throughout. Custom walnut cabinetry and matching quartz surfaces carry through the kitchen, dry bar, and built-in bookshelf, tying the main living spaces together. The primary bathroom continues the material palette with walnut cabinetry and quartz countertops, while white oak flooring and neutral carpeting in select rooms add warmth and texture to the home’s welcoming design.
