Though the views from this West Hills home - downtown Portland, the Willamette River, Mount Hood and beyond - are incredible, its Santa Fe interior didn't really mesh well with the home’s more modern design.
The whole-house remodel here not only updated everything, but streamlined the design elements throughout, all while maximizing the incredible vistas for the homeowners.
Before the remodel, the home had a cramped kitchen, low ceilings and thick terra cotta stone tiles that did little justice to the home’s true style. Wanting to open up the home more, we raised the roof and eliminated walls around the kitchen that blocked the view. This created an ideal great room on the main level, and a Sub-Zero refrigerator, a 48” Dacor range and custom-stained cabinets complete a beautiful kitchen for cooking and entertaining.
